About The Position

As a UX Designer V focused on Monetization, you'll envision and help bring to life outstanding customer experiences for the world's largest online marketplace, with over 135 million shoppers and 25+ million sellers. Your responsibility in this role is to craft elegant and simple interfaces that solve complex interaction problems. We're seeking a designer equally strong across interaction design, visual design, and prototyping for this role. An understanding of how to operate as a designer in a highly cross-functional environment is critical for success in this role. You'll be part of a highly collaborative and supportive user experience team who work across global buyer and seller experience focused products.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in Product Design, UX/UI Design
• Ability to prepare effective presentations, present multiple design directions and tradeoffs, with content appropriately tailored to the audience
• Expert level skills in design and prototyping with Figma
• Expert level skills designing across multiple devices across mobile and desktop
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

• BS Degree in Interaction Design, HCI, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Create outstanding, user-centered designs incorporating business requirements, product requirements, customer research insights, and your design intuition
• Develop conceptual diagrams, wireframes, visual mockups and prototypes
• Leverage eBay's existing design system into your solutions while also being able to thoughtfully contribute new additions to it
• Participate in user research, testing, and product discovery
• Work with product managers and cross functional partners to influence product strategy and create beautiful, scalable framework design solutions that delight our customers
• Drive discovery through workshops and design sprint facilitation
