User Interface (UI) Engineers at Millennium are critical members of the team, gathering requirements and continuously delivering high-quality applications. Our UI Engineers leverage advanced TypeScript knowledge and visualization skills to build scalable and performant web applications. These team members are thought leaders who engage with the web development community to ensure the solutions being built are using the latest technologies.

Requirements

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in a financial services UI Engineering role, ideally working on electronic trading systems for investment professionals.
• Passion for working with users and developing solutions that deliver an exceptional user experience.
• Experience with React, Redux, Electron, Node.js.
• Experience with wire-framing, prototyping, and user-centric design.
• Proficiency with TypeScript and JavaScript (ES6).
• Proficiency with HTML5 (Canvas, WebWorkers, WebSockets), CSS3, and SASS.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions that enable our investment professionals to trade in real-time on internal/external information, including collecting requirements, prototyping designs, and delivering production grade products.
• Collaborate with leading analysts, traders, quantitative researchers, and data scientists to create and implement solutions that address key challenges in financial markets.
• Transform financial data into intuitive visualizations that empower investment professionals to uncover insights, enhance research workflows, and make more informed decisions.
• Accelerate our growth by questioning existing norms and uncovering opportunities to improve our platform.
