About The Position

Our client is a leading financial institution. We're seeking a senior to advanced-level UI Developer to join the delivery team. This is an opportunity to work on mission-critical applications with a collaborative team of leading tech professionals.

Requirements

  • 6–10 years of relevant software engineering experience
  • Bachelors degree in STEM or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Advanced understanding of software engineering principles
  • Proficiency with Java, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Senior-level experience with Angular
  • Experience mentoring junior developers
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to pixel-perfect UI delivery
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Git, GitLab, or Sonar
  • Knowledge of AWS services and security best practices
  • Experience with cloud networking and zero trust principles
  • Experience using Terraform to deploy cloud infrastructure
  • US Citizenship required (Enhanced background screening)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience developing components for enterprise design systems
  • Experience with additional programming languages (e.g., Python)
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms
  • Familiarity with centralized observability and monitoring tools
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and tools

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with UX and design teams to deliver visually appealing, Section 508-compliant web solutions
  • Partner with product owners and stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions aligned with business goals
  • Analyze business and technical requirements and implement effective technical solutions
  • Work in multidisciplinary teams alongside full-stack developers
  • Design, build, and optimize modern web applications
  • Create unit tests and automation tests within CI/CD pipelines
  • Perform cross-browser testing for new features
  • Conduct peer code reviews and promote coding best practices
  • Fix defects and support QA and UAT release cycles
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and frontend trends
  • Foster an agile mindset and contribute to high-performing teams
  • Mentor developers and advocate for frontend best practices
  • Support API integrations and infrastructure best practices
  • Provide on-call support, troubleshooting, and incident management
