If you’re looking for the chance to leverage advanced technology to redefine the transportation landscape, enhance customer experience and improve people’s lives, this is the opportunity for you. In this position... As a UI Designer, you have the desire to tackle exciting, meaty customer problems and translate them into clear, polished interfaces. Whether you’re using design thinking techniques to drive ideation and alignment or building a quick prototype to test with users, you can identify the right steps to move from ambiguity to a shippable experience. You will have a strong background in UI craft and interactive design, and you understand how great visual hierarchy, typography, layout, and motion create intuitive, confident experiences. You excel at designing high-fidelity, development-ready user interfaces that scale across responsive breakpoints and maintain consistency through components, patterns, and interaction states (hover, focus, active, disabled, error, empty, loading). You bring a detail-oriented mindset to accessibility, ensuring interfaces are usable and inclusive by default. You enjoy working closely with users and cross-functional partners to ensure the products you design are effective, efficient, and easy to use. While you may not primarily identify as a strategist, you have a solid understanding of standard research practices, and the vital role research plays in informing design decisions. You are adept at using evaluative approaches to iterate and continuously improve experiences over time. Your ability to balance user needs with business goals, and your commitment to UI quality from concept through implementation, make you a valuable asset in delivering exceptional digital experiences Based in Dearborn, MI, this is a hybrid position with a required four-day onsite presence each week.
