About The Position

As a UI Designer, you will create engaging, intuitive, and user-centered digital experiences that support our business and customer needs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including marketing, development, and product partners—to design, test, and deliver high-quality user interfaces. We are looking for someone who is passionate about design, enjoys solving complex problems, and brings creativity, curiosity, and collaboration to their work.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Professional experience in UI design (experience level may vary based on education and background)
  • Experience designing for web and/or mobile applications
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design, wireframes, and prototypes
  • Understanding of usability principles and user-centered design methodologies
  • Ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive design solutions
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain design decisions
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Comfort working with feedback and iterating on designs
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and work at a computer
  • Occasional standing, walking, and light lifting (up to 20 lbs.)
  • Use of hands for typing and fine manipulation
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a professional environment

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field preferred
  • Experience in insurance or financial services is helpful but not required
  • Ability to design across platforms (web, iOS, Android) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Design user-centered interfaces, wireframes, and prototypes for web and application experiences
  • Translate business and user requirements into visually compelling and functional design solutions
  • Collaborate with UX, development, analytics, and business teams to ensure designs meet user and technical needs
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Communicate design concepts and decisions clearly using data and user insights
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of design standards and best practices
  • Support cross-functional initiatives and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive team environment
