About The Position

PJ Helicopters is seeking A&P Base/Field Mechanics for performance of base maintenance duties.

Requirements

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant licenses.
• Knowledge of FARs – 91, 133, 135, and 145.
• Commercial Driver’s License with HAZMAT/Tank Endorsements required.
• If you’re not in possession of HAZMAT, but possess other ideal qualifications, you must be willing to obtain your HAZMAT & Commercial License immediately after hire.
• Ability and/or willingness to work days, nights, weekends, scheduled days off, and on-call during busy periods. Some travel required.
• Pre-employment drug-screening required, as well as ongoing randomized testing.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic team setting while maintaining good working relationships with staff, peers, and management.

Nice To Haves

• Candidates with knowledge, experience, and training in the UH-60, AS-350, Bell 407, 429 or MD 530F models will be given preference.

Responsibilities

• perform a variety of general helicopter maintenance including, but not limited to, detailed aircraft inspections, minor and major repairs and alterations, preventative maintenance and servicing
• perform all the base maintenance duties while in the field
• drive the fuel and support trucks
