As a Construction Planner at Sibanye Stillwater, you will directly report to the Mine Support Construction General Foreman, playing a vital role in ensuring the success of operational and capital projects at the Stillwater Mine. Your responsibilities will encompass providing essential planning and scheduling support to the construction team, conducting QA/QC audits of field-related work, and driving initiatives aimed at process optimization. You will engage in project support that enhances the development and progress tracking of both operational and capital infrastructure projects, ensuring that every aspect of construction aligns with our high-performance culture. To excel in the Construction Planner role at Sibanye Stillwater, a diverse skill set and relevant experience are essential. Candidates should possess a solid foundation in engineering, ideally supported by a degree in a related field, alongside 0-3 years of relevant mine experience. Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Projects), and JD Edwards (or equivalent) is crucial for managing tasks efficiently, including conducting QA/QC audits and organizing work order backlogs. Strong troubleshooting and problem-diagnosing skills will enable you to address challenges effectively while coordinating closely with mine support groups to ensure project scopes are met.
