The position involves facilitating the collection, processing, and shipping of urine specimens. The Specialist must follow policies to correctly identify patients before obtaining specimens, properly label and document the specimens, and prepare them for shipment. Additionally, the role requires entering all required patient/test information into the Company LIS or completing the Company's manual requisition to process, result, and bill the sample. Customer service and compassion are essential when interacting with patients, physicians, and clinic staff. The Specialist is also responsible for performing data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
