Operation of the framing machine (maintaining proper speeds, width, overfeed, etc. as pe the standard.) Making proper machine adjustments as necessary. Visually monitoring fabric. Check that fabric is being fed properly onto the pins. Report and issues to the supervisor. Record production on reports. Enter dye order information in the WIP computer.

Requirements

Read, write, and speak and understand in English and Spanish, to interpret documents such as specifications, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, reports, business correspondence, regulatory and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

Receive machine assignment from shift supervisor.
Review dye order and S.O.P. to determine machine set-up.
Thread fabric into machine as per standard.
Operate the machine. Maintain the proper speeds, width, overfeed, etc. Making the proper machine adjustments as necessary.
Visually monitor fabric. Check that the fabric is being properly fed onto the pins. Report any problems to the supervisor.
Record production information on production benefits.
Enter dye order information into the wip computer.
Follow all company safety rules and regulations and foster safe work habits.
Maintains good housekeeping in the work area and performs other tasks as directed.
Maintain housekeeping, productivity, quality, ensure safety, and be a team player, by always helping your fellow co-workers.
Foster an environment focused on Continuous Improvement.
Performs additional duties as requested, needed, or assigned.
