UCSF Fresno and Inspire Health are seeking a full-time faculty member to serve as the Rheumatology Division Chief. This position is pivotal in managing the Rheumatology Division, which encompasses outpatient Rheumatologic care, inpatient consultations, and the education of residents and students. The successful candidate will also be involved in clinical research, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in the field of Rheumatology. Clinical activities will take place in various settings, including a hospital-based clinic, a community clinic, and a VA clinic. The faculty appointment with UCSF will be commensurate with the applicant's background and accomplishments, ensuring that the selected candidate is well-qualified to lead the division effectively. The role requires a board-certified Rheumatologist who is eligible for a California medical license, which must be obtained prior to hire. Leadership experience of at least two years is also a prerequisite for this position.
