About The Position
UCSF Fresno and Central California Faculty Medical Group (CCFMG), doing business as Inspire Health, is seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist to join our team at the Assistant, Associate, or Full rank in the HS Clinical or Clinical X series. This position is based in Clovis, California, where the successful candidate will be involved in both outpatient and inpatient care. The UCSF Fresno Hematology/Oncology fellowship program, which is ACGME accredited, began in July 2016 and has been growing since its inception. The outpatient clinical and research program is located at the new Community Cancer Institute, which provides a state-of-the-art environment for patient care and research. In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for seeing patients in an ambulatory care setting and providing inpatient consultations at both Community Regional Medical Center and Clovis Community Medical Center. The position also includes a significant teaching component, as the candidate will be expected to participate in medical education for fellows and residents. Our active clinical research program has been expanding since 2018, and we are involved in both cooperative group and industry-sponsored trials. Regular tumor boards are held in all specialty areas, providing a collaborative environment for clinical decision-making and research. Candidates must be board certified in Internal Medicine and either board certified or eligible in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology. We are looking for individuals with excellent clinical skills, a willingness to engage in medical education, and a strong interest in clinical research. Preference will be given to candidates with a focus on Hematology and Cellular Therapy.
