About The Position

This project aims at developing advanced materials processing techniques using induction heating technology. Induction heating is a noncontact processing technique that can rapidly heat the materials being processed up to the desirable temperature with the heating power delivered to locations where it is requested. Students participating to the project will be working on materials synthesis and characterization techniques and computer modeling/simulation. This applied project will provide internship students with a very good opportunity to gain hands on experience and engage their further interest in scientific research. Education and Experience Requirements The entirety of the appointment must be conducted within the United States. Must be 18 years or older at the time the appointment begins. Applicants must be: ‒ Currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate studies at an accredited institution ‒ Graduated from an accredited institution within the past 3 months; or ‒ Actively enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited institution
