About The Position

Jefferies is excited to announce its third U.S. Equity Research Stock Pitch Competition. This contest is ideal for undergraduate college sophomores with a strong interest in Equity Research. A finance or finance-related major (i.e., Business, Accounting, Economics, or Mathematics) is preferred. By participating in this challenge, students will be able to demonstrate their market knowledge and interest in security valuation, as well as the potential to engage with Jefferies Equity Research professionals. Stock pitch winners will have the opportunity to interview for a 2027 Equity Research Summer Internship position. Application Timeline Submit your application by January 11, 2026 Finalists will be notified and provided additional details by January 16, 2026 Finalist will present their stock pitch at Jefferies New York headquarters in early February Stock Pitch In order to participate, candidates must submit a two-page stock pitch which should include the company name, ticker, current price at time of submission, price target and respective upside/downside potential. Please upload your two-page stock pitch where it asks you to attach a personal statement as part of the application form .
