About The Position

Pan-American Life Insurance Group (PALIG) is seeking an intern to join the U.S. Life Operations team within the Global Life division this summer. PALIG’s Summer Internship Program offers students a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a global business environment while strengthening both technical and professional communication skills. Key Intern Responsibilities / Expectations: The internship will provide rotational exposure across multiple areas within U.S. Life Operations , with primary responsibility focused on the Contracts and Licensing Team . This role offers practical experience supporting agent onboarding, compliance, and operational processes critical to U.S. Life business operations.

Requirements

• Candidates must be current undergraduate or graduate students
• Interns are expected to work approximately 40 hours per week in a full-time capacity

Responsibilities

• Processing administrative intake for agent contracting and licensing requests
• Working directly with state Department of Insurance (DOI) websites to support licensing activities
• Reviewing and tracking background check documentation for agent appointments
• Assisting agents with basic contracting and licensing-related inquiries
• Gaining exposure to imaging and document management technology through collaboration with the New Business / Imaging team
• Supporting general operational and compliance-related tasks as assigned
• Participating in regularly scheduled Lunch & Learn sessions highlighting different business functions
• Engaging in other planned internship program activities and events
