About The Position

The U.S. Breast Cancer Regional Director of Medical Affairs (RDMA) is responsible for executing scientific and medical affairs plans for breast cancer within the designated region. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, engaging with scientific leaders, and ensuring alignment with global scientific communications. The RDMA will lead the Regional Medical Affairs Team and support regional affiliates in their interactions with national scientific leaders.

Requirements

  • MD, PhD or PharmD
  • Breast Cancer background
  • Five+ years' experience in US Medical Affairs
  • Strong prioritization and decision-making skills
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with partners across divisions in a matrix environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, communication (written and oral) skills
  • Results-oriented project management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Breast Cancer role experience (three+ years)
  • Medical Affairs Experience (5+ years)
  • Scientific leadership and experience working with key stakeholders in the assigned therapeutic area.

Responsibilities

  • Guide country Research Division GMSA staff to execute the annual scientific & medical plan for breast cancer.
  • Chair the Regional Medical Affairs Team (RMAT) to ensure execution of agreed medical tactics and leverage best practices.
  • Ensure scientific exchange is aligned with the global scientific communications platform.
  • Partner with regional Commercial, regional Oues Research, regional Policy, and regional Market Access to drive development and execution of regional plans.
  • Consolidate actionable medical insights.
  • Engage with a network of scientific leaders and other key stakeholders.
  • Support affiliates staff in engagement with their national scientific leaders as a regional TA expert.
  • Organize regional expert input events to answer company questions regarding new indications.
