About the position
As a U.S. Army Dental Specialist, you will receive specialized training to assist Army dentists in examining and treating servicemembers' dental needs. This role involves preparing for dental operations, managing patient records, and performing various dental procedures, contributing to the overall health and well-being of military personnel.
Responsibilities
- Assist Army dentists in the examination and treatment of servicemembers' teeth.
- Prepare for dental operations by selecting and arranging instruments.
- Take patients' dental impressions and X-rays.
- Manage dental offices and patient records.
- Perform preventive cleanings and take patients' blood pressure and pulse.
- Help administer anesthesia when needed.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a valid Green Card.
- High School Diploma or GED.
