The General Manager will be tasked with ensuring the center's profitability and efficiency through effective staff hiring, inventory tracking, and equipment management. This role involves problem-solving as issues arise and is described as varied, fast-paced, and rewarding. U-Haul offers a 'Hire Fast, Pay Fast' approach, including paid hands-on working interviews and a $100 hiring bonus, plus an additional $300 cash bonus upon completing the 1-2-3 Punch Certification Program. Since 1945, U-Haul has served do-it-yourself movers, founded by L.S. 'Sam' Shoen and Anna Mary Carty Shoen to meet the post-World War II demand for one-way, nationwide moving equipment, thereby establishing an industry.
