About The Position

U-Haul Company is seeking a U-Box Customer Care Representative (CCR), who also serves as a local delivery driver. In this role, you will be responsible for managing U-Box containers and providing friendly, courteous service to customers. U-Haul offers a rewarding job experience within a caring company culture. Since 1945, U-Haul has been a leader in serving do-it-yourself movers, a concept born out of the post-World War II need for accessible, one-way moving equipment nationwide. Co-founders L.S. "Sam" Shoen and Anna Mary Carty Shoen pioneered this approach, making mobility easier for populations across the U.S. and Canada and establishing a new industry.

Requirements

• Clean motor vehicle driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Department of Transportation certification
• Commercial driver’s license (CDL)

Responsibilities

• Operate a flatbed truck (training provided)
• Operate an 8000-lb propane forklift or a truck-mounted forklift (training provided)
• Load and unload storage containers for delivery
• Transport storage containers to and from specified destinations, e.g., customers’ homes and businesses – local routes only
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University
