The Process Control and Integrated Systems Team Lead at DuPont's Spruance, VA plant is responsible for leading a small team in executing a cohesive plan for Process Control and Integrated Systems programs. This role focuses on aligning with Business Technology Implementation Plans (BTIP) and addressing system lifecycle management, modernization, disaster planning, and cybersecurity needs. The position requires a strong background in manufacturing and automation systems, with an emphasis on driving strategic initiatives to support the Tyvek® line of business.

  • Drive detailed execution of a subset of the BTIP for Automation & Process Control systems, Integrated Systems, and related infrastructure.
  • Drive execution of holistic plan for system lifecycle management, modernization, disaster planning, and cybersecurity needs.
  • Drive execution of holistic plan for system and application maintenance & support management to ensure that manufacturing-critical system maintenance & support needs are fully met.
  • Drive execution of holistic plan for system and application license management to ensure that licensing needs are fully met in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
  • Ensure work is assigned and executed cohesively to meet objectives on value capture and timing.
  • Define near term plan in support of the MT Leader and the BTIP.
  • Support technical ladder competency development and succession planning, including training for primary and secondary support layers for manufacturing-critical systems.
  • Ensure technology considerations for capital project front end loading are included and adequate for reliable support of the manufacturing unit.
  • Ensure Management of Change protocols and expectations are met for BTIP Process Safety Management (PSM)/Grow/Improve projects.
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering discipline required.
  • 5-10 years of current or relevant manufacturing or related experience supporting Automation & Process Control systems (e.g. DCS, PLC, etc.) or Integrated Systems (e.g. servers, workstations, vendor-provided measurement or inspection systems, networking, firewalls, etc.) required.
  • Line of Business experience preferred.
  • Process Safety Management (High Hazard Process/Low Hazard Operation) experience required.
