About The Position

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old (16-17 years old permitted with completion of DPI course)
  • Must meet Wisconsin state licensing requirements for Assistant Teacher (minimum certification)
  • Ability to provide proof of current CPR and First Aid certification
  • Previous experience working with children
  • Willingness to learn and follow state child care licensing regulations and procedures for Group Day Care Centers
  • Ability to work cooperatively with children, parents, staff, and community organizations
  • Demonstrated joy and satisfaction in working with children
  • Ability to work effectively under general supervision
