About The Position

Discovery Isle Preschool is seeking a caring, creative, and enthusiastic Twos Teacher to join their early childhood education team. The twos program focuses on discovery, independence, and building the foundation for a lifetime love of learning. As a Twos Teacher, the individual will guide curious young learners through hands-on experiences that encourage exploration, language development, and social growth within a nurturing, safe, and fun classroom environment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Completed 12 Core ECE Units in Early Childhood Education
• an awarded CDA in Preschool.
• 6 months prior experience in a licensed childcare center.
• Positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and passion for helping children learn through play and exploration.
• Authorization to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Create engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities that support each child’s development.
• Foster social-emotional growth by modeling kindness, patience, and problem-solving.
• Maintain consistent routines that help toddlers feel secure as they grow more independent.
• Build meaningful relationships with families through daily communication and collaboration.
• Partner with your co-teachers and school leaders to uphold a supportive classroom culture.
