About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teacher to join our educational team at Wonder Joy Academy. The ideal candidate will provide a nurturing and supportive environment for young students, promoting their cognitive, emotional, and social development. The Teacher will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating a range of educational activities, while maintaining high standards of classroom management and behavior management. This role requires a passion for teaching and a commitment to providing exceptional care and support to our students. In this position, you will develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and meet the needs of students with diverse learning styles and abilities. You will provide individualized instruction and support to students, using various teaching strategies and resources. Establishing a positive and respectful classroom environment that encourages collaboration, creativity, and self-expression is essential. You will also manage classroom behavior and promote social skills through positive reinforcement and constructive feedback. Additionally, you will administer standardized tests and assessments, using the results to inform instruction and identify areas of improvement. Collaboration with colleagues and other professionals will be key to sharing best practices, developing new strategies, and supporting students who may require additional support or intervention. Maintaining accurate and detailed records of student progress and performance is also a critical part of this role. Participation in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices and research in early childhood education is expected. You will work closely with the Child Welfare department to ensure that students with special needs receive the support they require.
