Your role is crucial because you are pivotal in the guest's impression of quality service throughout our hotel. From providing efficient and friendly service to setting the stage for a personable dining experience, you will maximize food & beverage revenue while creating a lasting impression on our guests. Requirements

  • Previous food and beverage experience is an asset
  • Must be highly organized and able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and able to complete many diverse tasks concurrently
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to multi-task and organize, produce accurate work and guest service
  • Excellent listening and comprehension skills required

Responsibilities

  • Maintains a friendly, attentive, and professional demeanor during all guest encounters and responds appropriately to guest requests and complaints.
  • Ensures the restaurant, public areas, server stations, and storage areas are “picture perfect” for optimal first impressions.
  • Understands that effective and cohesive communication between departments is vital to the operation.
  • Welcomes and seats guests entering the restaurant in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Creates and maintains the flow of guests into the restaurant to ensure our culinary team and servers can deliver exceptional service.
  • Maintains an organized reservation system and keeps track of table availability and wait times.
  • Develops excellent product knowledge about the menu and feature items and can answer any inquiry.
  • Maintains accuracy and attention to detail when taking and delivering guest orders.
  • Adheres to all regulations governing the service of food and alcohol.
  • Protects self, co-workers, and guests against safety hazards; reports immediately to the supervisor on duty.
