About The Position
Discovery Isle Preschool is seeking a caring, creative, and enthusiastic Twos Teacher to join our early childhood education team! Our twos program is all about discovery, independence, and building the foundation for a lifetime love of learning. As a Twos Teacher, you’ll guide curious little learners through hands-on experiences that encourage exploration, language development, and social growth — all within a nurturing, safe, and fun classroom environment. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old and have one of the following:
- Completed 12 Core ECE Units in Early Childhood Education
- an awarded CDA in Preschool.
- 6 months prior experience in a licensed childcare center.
- Positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and passion for helping children learn through play and exploration.
- Authorization to work in the United States
Responsibilities
- Create engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities that support each child’s development.
- Foster social-emotional growth by modeling kindness, patience, and problem-solving.
- Maintain consistent routines that help toddlers feel secure as they grow more independent.
- Build meaningful relationships with families through daily communication and collaboration.
- Partner with your co-teachers and school leaders to uphold a supportive classroom culture.
