Requirements

High School Diploma or GED, required
Ability to read, write, and comprehend documents provided to operator machines printed in English.
Basic math skills, required
Ability to operate a computer, required
Ability to communicate effectively with various employees throughout the facility
Ability to work in both a team environment and as an individual contributor

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a manufacturing facility or machine operator position, preferred

Responsibilities

Safely sets-up, takes-apart, operates, and maintains cleanliness of any assigned piece(s) of equipment.
Ability to understand all shop floor documents that are necessary to operate the equipment and manufacture the product.
Ability to maintain and complete all required documentation in the manufacturing of the product.
Perform all required quality control checks and inspections on assigned product lines.
Assist in other areas of the cable manufacturing operations as needed.
