Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year security experience required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in high pedestrian traffic environments.
• Ability to work inside and outside of designated community, with possible exposure to inclement weather conditions.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Active TWIC License.
• Active NJ SORA Security License.
• Minimum 1+ Year's Security Experience with Port Terminal Experience Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring Access Points: Guarding and controlling access to the terminal facility, including gates and entry points.
• Checking Identification: Verifying the credentials of personnel and visitors to ensure that only authorized individuals are allowed entry.
• Monitoring CCTV: Observing security camera feeds to detect and respond to suspicious activities.
• Patrolling: Conducting regular patrols around the terminal area to deter and detect any security breaches or unauthorized activities.
• Handling Emergencies: Responding to security incidents, emergencies, or breaches, such as fires, thefts, or accidents.
• Reporting: Documenting incidents and preparing detailed reports for follow-up actions.
• Assisting Personnel: Helping terminal workers, drivers, and visitors with information and directions while maintaining security protocols.
