About The Position

KBR is seeking qualified TVAC technicians to join our OMES III contract supporting environmental testing operations at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center’s Integration & Test (I&T) complex in Greenbelt, MD.. These employees will play a key role in supporting complex operations related to space simulation testing for both flight and ground support hardware. Summary of Work Provide space simulation testing services for space flight and ground support hardware, utilizing 10 thermal vacuum chambers, 2 temperature and humidity chambers, and related support equipment. All applicants must be eligible for work in the United States and able to support NASA GSFC operations in Greenbelt, MD. Basic Compensation: Jobs on this contract range from $35.19/hr - $70.19/hr. Pay range is specific to the Greenbelt, MD area. The offered rate will be based on the position, contract affordability, the selected candidate’s working location, knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, and in consideration of internal parity. Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance. Requirements

Demonstrated training and proficiency in space simulation testing.
Experience with chamber, facility, and test equipment operations.
Ability to generate operating procedures and equipment operating manuals.
Knowledge of vacuum-compatible materials and processes for fabricating ground support equipment for spaceflight hardware.
