About The Position

The TV Producer 1 coordinates the production of television or web broadcasts, shows or videos. Contributes to the ideation, concept creation, casting, and scriptwriting for productions. Ensures productions adhere to budgeting and specifications and follow designated schedules and timelines. Collaborates with technical specialists and operators for each production's camera, sound, and lighting. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop concepts for production of broadcast programs and projects reflect creativity and achieve production goals to support the mission of Kenneth Copeland Ministries Research and identify appropriate content for programming with respect to the target audience. Lead the various elements of production such as art direction, graphics, keys, branding, set considerations, overall visuals and audio plan that meets project goals and needs Communicate project information, production direction, timelines and details to staff and crew for all assigned projects and programs Manage and maintain production schedules and due/air dates for programming projections. Coordinate and schedule on air talent and guests for assigned projects Manage and/or participate in writing copy/script for prompter, spots, program listing descriptions. Ensure program format or service flow is followed with video roll-ins and guest schedules, and that set, props, talent and technical crew are in proper positions Produce and/or lead production team to create spots & segments as needed that support project goals and meet creative expectations Production support for live events, productions, EFP shoots and services and post-production follow-up Communicate between Director & Producer and the production team, talent, guests, and audience on set. Able to creatively capture footage and edit

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, a minor or area of concentration in business, journalism, speech, or communication helpful
  • 0-2 years of experience as an associate producer or 3 years in a producer role, which demonstrates creative and logistic aptitude, resourcefulness and working knowledge of production process, including programming, audio and video elements, writing, scheduling, estimating, and editing.
  • Background in Television Production
  • Must have strong interpersonal communications skills and be able to work well with people in collaborative settings.
  • Must have a high level of spiritual maturity, demonstrating integrity, respect, discernment, and honor while maintaining strict confidentiality.
  • Must possess a positive attitude, adaptable to change, professional approach and presentation.
  • Must have strong organizational skills and good time management skills to meet due dates.
  • Must have good attention to detail and ability to follow direction accurately.
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and managing a high volume of work efficiently.
