About the position
Learn It Systems is seeking afterschool Title I Teachers for the 2024/2025 school year to work in K-8 classrooms. This role is integral to providing high-quality education services in reading and mathematics to students in need, particularly those qualifying for Title I assistance. The position involves collaboration with school personnel, parents, and a team of educators to create exceptional learning experiences for students.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with school administrators and classroom teachers to identify Title I students.
- Plan and deliver effective instruction in a small group setting.
- Administer pre and post assessments to track student progress.
- Consistently track student progress and data.
- Manage the classroom effectively and provide a safe learning environment.
- Escort students to and from the Title I classroom.
Requirements
- Active Teacher Certification preferred.
- Experience working with Title I students is a plus.
- Computer proficiency required.
- Ability to provide a high level of customer service to principals, classroom teachers, and parents.
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
- Frequent standing and ability to raise arms above the head.
- Hand dexterity for typing and entering data into a computer.
