About The Position

Sylvan Learning Center is seeking part-time teachers to provide educational services to students from Kindergarten through High School. The role focuses on enhancing students' confidence and independence in subjects such as Math, Reading/Writing, and SAT Prep, without the need for lesson planning. The position offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for career advancement through on-the-job training.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred but not required.
• State or provincial teaching credentials preferred (current or expired).
• Minimum of one or two years of teaching experience preferred.
• Knowledge of phonics and reading comprehension preferred for reading teachers.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in teaching Math (up to Algebra 2 or beyond).
• Experience in teaching Reading/Writing (up to 12th grade).
• Experience in SAT Prep.
