Lakeside’s comprehensive programs treat disorders such as bipolar disorder, psychological trauma, depression and anxiety, mental illness and addictive disease disorders such as alcoholism, drug addiction and substance abuse. Job Description The Tutor assists students and teachers in meeting stated educational goals and provides direct student behavior management under the supervision of a Teacher. Primary responsibilities include the provision of a safe and therapeutic class room setting, crisis intervention and behavior management. Requirements

  • Education: Bachelors Degree in Education or related field highly preferred; high school diploma required.
  • Experience: One-year experience working with a psychiatric patient population preferred.
  • Knowledge: Prefer knowledge of effective educational strategies age specific growth and development; limit setting and crisis and behavior management.
