About The Position

The position involves tutoring students in independent study modules focused on college and career readiness skills. The tutor will establish a positive rapport and supportive relationship with students, conduct pre- and post-tests to measure skills improvement, assist students in preparing resumes, and demonstrate computer literacy. Additionally, the tutor will prepare accurate documentation related to grades and participant progress, perform other job-related duties as assigned, represent the college positively in the community, and participate in relevant meetings.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED, required.

Nice To Haves

• Tutoring experience, preferred.
• Proficient in use of computers, specifically Microsoft Office & Google Suite, preferred.
• Prior work experience with diverse populations, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Tutor students in independent study modules for college and career readiness skills.

• Participate in meetings relevant to the job.
