Clackamas Community College (CCC) seeks to hire Tutor Specialist (Lead Tutor) positions, which are part-time, hourly, non-benefits eligible positions. The Tutor Specialist (Lead Tutor) provides learning strategies and academic support for a specific content area. Works with the Learning Center Coordinators and/or content area faculty to assess student needs and to develop and implement learning interventions for individuals and small groups in the content area. Supports the retention and academic success of the College's students. Integrates knowledge of adult learning theory with practical application to support students' study skills and content area knowledge and skills. Provides direct student support.
