The tutor is responsible for working with and supporting the education of scholars in the classroom and throughout the building. A Bachelor’s Degree is required and a teaching certification is preferred. A tutor is responsible for delivering reading instruction in collaboration with the instructional team. Part-Time (20 hours/week) Max ($38.00/hr) 2-3 Days a week Work with scholars within the classroom to improve academic skills. Allow for differentiation/enrichment of assignments. Support progress towards long and short-term individual student goals and objectives. Plan and implement individual and group activities (tiered instruction, academic and play-based centers, circle time, technology activities, etc) as needed. Collect data and progress monitor student progress towards goals and objectives. Exhibit professional and ethical behavior. Attend professional development activities as appropriate. Perform other reasonable areas of responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor to meet the unique requirements of the program and clients thereof.
