About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and patient degree certified tutor to support students in grades 2 through 5. This role focuses on providing academic assistance in core subject areas, helping students build confidence, and supporting their overall academic growth. In addition to tutoring responsibilities, this position may include school support duties such as lunch duty coverage and arrival/dismissal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide small-group or one-on-one tutoring in reading, writing, math, and other grade-level subjects for students in grades 2–5.
• Support teachers by reinforcing classroom lessons and assisting students who need additional academic help.
• Maintain a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
• Track student progress and communicate concerns to supervising staff as needed.
• Assist with lunch duty coverage, ensuring a safe and orderly cafeteria environment.
• Support arrival and dismissal duties, helping maintain safety and efficient student transitions.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the school community.
