About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic tutor to provide individualized academic support to students in our behavioral support classroom.
Requirements
- Must have a Bachelors degree
Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one and in small groups with students on academic skills aligned with their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and grade level curriculum.
- Implement and monitor the students Behavior Intervention Plan to promote a safe and productive learning environment.
- Collaborate with the classroom teacher and support staff to develop and implement effective instructional and behavioral strategies.
- Monitor student progress, document observations, and report back to the classroom teacher.
- Contribute to a positive and encouraging atmosphere that fosters student self-esteem and motivation.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records.
