About The Position

Operates computer programmable/controlled machines to perform a series of progressive machining operations on repetitive work to close and exacting tolerances. Requires a general knowledge of machining techniques and methods and familiarity with numerical control machine operating procedures. May download operating programs and make minor adjustments to maintain product specifications. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Blue print reading.
• Basic math skills (calculator).
• Basic hand tools and assembly machines.
• Must be able to understand and follow English verbal and written instructions.
• 5s Principles.
• Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate tools and equipment.
• Capable of standing, bending, pushing, moving and lifting objects up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Complete work assigned in the allotted time.
• Work must meet company quality standards.
• Upon completion of assigned work, work area and equipment must meet company 5S standards.
• Report all variances from standards to Manager.
