About The Position

As a Turret Operator, you will operate an Amada turret punch press to produce high-quality sheet metal components. This role plays a critical part in ensuring parts are punched accurately, inspected carefully, and prepared for the next stage of production. Attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to quality are key to success in this position.

Requirements

• Minimum 10th grade education
• At least 6 months of machine operating experience
• Ability to read drawings and perform basic math
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
• If hired, you must pass a background check and drug screening before your start date.

Nice To Haves

• Mechanical experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and work orders
• Install tooling and set up CNC turret punch equipment
• Operate the machine to punch sheet metal parts to specification
• Load and unload steel sheets safely and efficiently
• Separate scrap from finished parts and deburr as needed
• Inspect parts for quality and accuracy
• Perform basic preventative maintenance and lubrication
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation
• Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe
• Follow all company quality and safety policies
