About The Position

Ardent Communities is a premier multi-family property management company headquartered in Westerville, OH. We are looking for a sharp-eyed, boots-on-the-ground Turnover Inspector to help us walk and score recently vacated apartments, condos and homes. If you’ve got property management, quality assurance, construction or maintenance experience and have a consistent eye this role is for you. You’ll be the first set of eyes before apartment homes are scheduled for the turnover process to make them market ready.

Requirements

Consistent Eye for Detail
Ability to use Microsoft Office (Mainly excel and outlook)
Good with being on their feet most of the day – walking, stairs, etc. – no matter the weather as this is a year-round position so heat, cold, snow, rain etc they are still out there!

Nice To Haves

Have property management, QA, construction and/or maintenance experience.
Have a consistent eye for detail.
Are confident making judgment calls and holding standards.
Are organized and great at following through to completion.
Can juggle shifting priorities without breaking a sweat.
Communicate clearly — both in writing and in person.
Are proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Have experience with property management software (AppFolio is a plus!).
Are trustworthy, self-motivated, quick to learn and work well alone.

Responsibilities

Conduct detailed inspections of multi-family units after residents move out.
Identify, score and clearly document unit condition, maintenance issues and what needs attention. Showcasing photos of findings.
Coordinate walk schedules with team to ensure walks are completed in a timely manner.
Maintain records digitally and track daily progress.
Travel throughout Central Ohio to visit various communities.
Be on your feet and walking for extended periods during inspections.
Assist in administrative functions as needed, including billing out of punch outs, etc.
