About The Position

The Turner Institute for Brain and Mental Health , as the research hub of the School of Psychological Sciences, has led neuroscience and mental health research since its inception, propelled by David Winston Turner's generous gift. The Turner Institute is advancing the future of brain and mental health through transformative research and engagement. Join the team as Research Fellow and support the development of a focused research program that advances the understanding within the scientific fields of brain and mental health. This position will contribute to the research priorities of the Turner Institute for Brain and Mental Health in an area where they can demonstrate impact. The work of the Research Fellow will align with one or more of the Turner Institute’s 6 programmatic research areas, more information can be found here, www.monash.edu/turner-institute/research . This position will conduct research as part of a team, including establishing a clear program of work and producing high-quality publications, conference papers and seminar presentations. The role will also contribute to the preparation of submissions to external funding bodies and coordinate research activities connected with the relevant area of expertise. We are seeking someone with a doctoral qualification in psychology or neuroscience or a closely related field along with strong research performance supported by refereed publications. It draws on demonstrated statistical analysis skills and the capacity to prepare manuscripts and research proposals along with an ability to contribute to high-quality research outcomes. We have two positions available at Level A and Level B.
