About The Position

As a member of our housekeeping team, this position will provide evening service in assigned guest room sections. Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)and hospitality experience desired.
• Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs. with assistance) with a work environment that may be indoors and outdoors at times. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with guests by meeting the 16 Service Standards set by the hotel.
• Removes decorative pillows and place them on closet shelf/luggage rack/bench.
• Turns down beds.
• Places throw blanket on overstuffed chair.
• Places chocolates on the nightstand.
• Switches on nightstand lamps and turns radio on easy listening music.
• Closes windows, drapes, blinds and shades.
• Empties trashcans, clean ashtrays, remove empty bottles and dirty dishes.
• Picks up and organizes guest shoes, clothing, magazines, and belongings.
• Removes soiled bathroom linen and replaces it with clean.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies as necessary.
• Replaces glasses.
• Cleans sink, bathtub, toilet and floor.
• Reports maintenance problems to housekeeping office.
• Delivers ice with service.
• Change bed linens as necessary.
• Stocks work cart at the end of the shift.
• Uses telephone to identify completion of service.
• Deliveries guest request items if needed or requested.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned or necessary.
