About The Position

The Turnaround (TAR) System Improvement Lead at Air Products is responsible for enhancing turnaround processes and tools within the Project Resource and Outage Support (PROS) Group. This role involves leading initiatives to streamline operations, develop training, and implement data-driven solutions to improve efficiency and sustainability in turnaround planning and execution. The position requires collaboration with various teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 5 - 10 years relevant experience in maintenance, IT, and/or engineering disciplines, with an understanding of turnarounds preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Ability to work harmoniously with employees, peers, management, and stakeholders.
  • Utilize a positive and constructive attitude toward problem resolution.
  • Accept direction, constructive feedback, and supervision.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
  • Proficient in business software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Outlook.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and process improvement tools (e.g., Mural, Vision) preferred.
  • Experience in methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, WAVE, Kaizen, RCA preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in maintenance or engineering disciplines related to turnarounds.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and own the development or improvement of TAR specific DT Applications and program tools administration.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Turnarounds DT efficiencies.
  • Develop work practices, tools, and training to support long-term sustainability.
  • Identify, develop, and lead initiatives to streamline current processes and resolve systemic issues.
  • Partner with teams across the organization to implement data-driven solutions and track progress.
  • Lead and support change management efforts related to process improvements.
  • Collaborate with leadership and key stakeholders to ensure initiatives align with organizational priorities.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support on continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Continuously monitor market trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
  • Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) efforts within the TAR team.
