About The Position

The position is for a consultant in the Turnaround and Restructuring (TRS) practice at AlixPartners, where the focus is on providing business, financial, and strategic consulting advice to companies facing significant challenges. The role involves working closely with senior professionals to address complex issues and support organizational excellence in high-stakes situations, contributing to measurable outcomes for clients across various industries.

Requirements

• Solid problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Working knowledge of 3 statement cash flow modeling and 13-week cash flow modeling is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Advanced understanding of finance and accounting concepts is critical.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Extraordinary customer service and interpersonal skills, with confidence and maturity in interactions with senior executives.
• Degree(s) in Accounting or Finance is required with a minimum GPA of 3.3/4.0.
• Internship(s) with relevant experience in consulting, finance, professional services, business, or other analytically challenging roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide business, financial, and strategic consulting advice to under-performing and highly leveraged companies.
• Collaborate with Directors and Managing Directors to address client challenges and support organizational excellence.
• Utilize problem-solving and analytical skills to review clients' operational and business models.
• Identify and implement strategic initiatives for organizations, making solid recommendations to clients.
• Prepare client-ready documents and presentation materials, demonstrating advanced written and verbal communication skills.
