About The Position
Chemours is seeking a Turnaround manager to join our growing Operations team. This position will be available at our La Porte, Tx location and report directly to the Unit Manager. The primary responsibility of the Turnaround Manager is to lead and manage turnaround (TA) activities at the La Porte Chemours Plant. This role must work closely with the Business Line to lead the turnaround process from scope definition through the start-up of the production unit. The Turnaround Manager will work with the TASC (Turnaround Steering Committee) to establish turnaround goals and measurements of success, monitor TAR Core Team progress against milestones, report status to the TASC, and maintain compliance records. The role also involves actively engaging the team in utilizing Best Practice tools throughout all phases of the event from pre-planning, TAR execution, and through post TAR activities.
