About The Position

Performs tasks that are necessary to keep maintenance facility and equipment clean, organized and safe on a daily basis. Inspects all equipment and tools that are assigned to specific tasks and reports any deficiencies to the Equipment Head Mechanic. Performs all functions and routine golf course maintenance activities as directed by listed supervisors. Become thoroughly trained in the proper procedures required to perform each task before performing each task. You must be able to: Operate vehicles and powered equipment such as greens mowers, fairway units, rough units, tractors and twin-axle vehicles Care for established property by mulching, weeding or trimming Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, hedge or brush trimmer Gather and remove trash and or litter on the course Minor irrigation repair

Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License and minimum of one-year experience working on a golf course or landscaping crew.
  • Possess good organizational skills.
  • Must possess logical thinking to solve problems.
  • Ability to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions.
  • Ability to visually inspect golf course conditions and report findings.
  • Have a valid driver's license and be able to operate a motor vehicle.
  • Ability to perform heavy physical labor.
  • May be required to work in an environment that includes such activities as bending, lifting, stooping, kneeling, climbing, reaching, walking, pushing, pulling and grasping
  • Must be able to stand for up to five (5) hours without sitting.
  • Clubs operate seven days per week. May be required to work weekends, holidays and overtime.
  • May need to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently.
  • Follow health and safety rules according to ClubLink's policy.

Nice To Haves

  • Mechanical knowledge a plus and perferrably 1-2 years experience in a similar role
  • individual with a positive attitude and reliability.
