About The Position

The New York Racing Association, Inc. is seeking a Groundskeeper for the Turf Crew at Belmont. This is a seasonal full-time position that will last from April 1, 2025, to November 30, 2025. The role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions and requires physical labor.

Requirements

• 3 months of experience required
• Ability to work outside in all types of weather

Responsibilities

• Replace, fill divots and holes for racetrack using seed/soil mix
• Install portable lightweight plastic turf rails using post pounders
• Use long tape measures and paint to mark the area
• Operate zero turn, walk-behind mowers, trimmers, and turf rollers near thoroughbred horses
