About The Position

The TurboTax Live Business Tax Preparer role at Intuit is a seasonal position focused on providing expert guidance and tax preparation services to customers, specifically for business tax returns. Requirements

• 3+ years of experience preparing federal and state business tax returns (1065 and/or 1120-S) for at least 20 clients per season.
• Minimum of 2 seasons of personal tax preparation experience, with at least 30 tax returns per year.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations for business and personal tax returns.
• Proficient with technology and solid knowledge of computer operations and software.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to interact professionally with customers through video and audio tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Critical thinking, problem solving, and research skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bookkeeping experience with books to tax preparation.
• Experience preparing business tax returns for service industry customers.
• Possession of any related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex business tax returns for Partnerships and S Corporations.
• Provide expert guidance and explanations of tax and technical terms to customers.
• Prepare and file federal and state business tax returns using commercial tax preparation software.
• Assist TurboTax Business customers with tax advice and full-service business return preparation.
• Create high-quality customer interactions that instill confidence and demonstrate deep customer empathy.
• Utilize government websites and professional resources to deliver accurate answers to customer inquiries.
• Document customer interactions and maintain records of services provided.
• Participate in pilot testing, projects, and experience validations as needed.
