About The Position

The TurboTax Live Business Tax Accountant position at Intuit is a seasonal role focused on providing expert guidance and tax preparation services to customers. The role involves managing complex business tax returns for Partnerships and S Corporations, while also contributing to the development of TurboTax Live Business. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in business tax preparation and a strong understanding of federal and state tax laws.

Requirements

• Active unrestricted credential: EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent experience preparing federal and state business tax returns (1065 and/or 1120-S).
• Experience preparing at least 30 personal tax returns per tax year in a tax practice or retail setting.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
• Proficient with technology and solid knowledge of computer operations and software.
• Strong customer service skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bookkeeping experience with books to tax preparation.
• Experience preparing Business Tax returns for service industry customers.
• Minimum of 2 seasons of personal Tax Preparation experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex business tax returns for Partnerships and S Corporations.
• Provide expert guidance and explanations of tax and technical terms to customers.
• Prepare and file federal and state business tax returns using commercial tax preparation software.
• Interact with customers through video and audio tools in a professional manner.
• Document customer interactions and provide high-quality customer experiences.
