About The Position

The TurboTax Business Tax Accountant position at Intuit is designed for individuals with a strong background in business tax preparation. The role focuses on providing expert guidance and tax preparation services to customers, particularly for Partnerships and S Corporations. The successful candidate will leverage their knowledge of federal and state tax laws to assist clients in completing their tax returns using TurboTax Business products, while also contributing to the development of TurboTax Live Business.

Requirements

• 3+ years of recent experience preparing federal and state business tax returns (1065 and/or 1120-S) for at least 20 clients/customers per season.
• Active unrestricted credential: EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney.
• Minimum of 2 seasons of personal tax preparation experience, with at least 30 tax returns per tax year.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations for business and personal tax returns.
• Proficient with technology and solid knowledge of computer operations and software.
• Strong customer service skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bookkeeping experience with books to tax preparation.
• Experience preparing business tax returns for service industry customers.
• Ability to obtain any related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex business tax returns for Partnerships and S Corporations.
• Provide expert guidance and explanations of tax and technical terms to customers.
• Assist TurboTax Business customers with tax advice and full-service business return preparation.
• Utilize video communications software to interact with customers professionally.
• Document customer interactions and ensure high-quality customer experiences.
• Participate in pilot testing, projects, and experience validations as needed.
