Turbine Parts Inspector
About The Position

With over 1.1 million square feet of sales and service facilities in the United States, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Brazil, PAG’s 27 locations and customer-focused business model serve aviation customers through Supply Chain and Inventory Supported Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (ISMRO) services. We have a position open for Detail Parts Inspector for our location in Carrollton, TX. The job purpose is the dimensional inspection of engine parts.
Requirements
- Proficient in reading and understanding manufacturer's instructions, drawings, and technical documents
- Mechanical experience in either the Aviation or Automotive Industry
- Ability to use precision measuring equipment, i.e., micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, etc.
- High School diploma or GED Equivalent
Nice To Haves
- At least 2 years of related experience in Aviation or related field
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret maintenance and overhaul manuals, service bulletins and other specifications to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing life-limited, malfunctioning, or damaged components
- Replace or repair worn, defective or damaged components using hand tools, gauges and testing equipment
- Perform testing of PT6 model engines and components
- Performing inspection of incoming parts, and final inspection of articles. Ensuring all inspections are properly performed and recorded, and all records are properly executed before final approval for return to service of articles maintained or altered by Prime Turbines
- Ensuring the Work Order packages contain the required documents and forms
